On the afternoon of September 14th, vice-secretary of Ministry of Social Welfare and Social Affiars, along with Tomorrow’s Plan Project Manager Zhang Shi Feng, entrusted by Ministry of Civil Affairs Minister Li to come to Peking University Hospital, to visit 14 children who are undergoing surgeries in the hospital. Vice-secretary Zhang Shi Feng came to the Bone surgery ward, to represent Secretary Li to visit Li Feng, a disabled orphan from Li Shui Children’s Social Welfare Institue in Zhejiang Province. Li Feng has congenital Spinal Difida. She is an excellent student at school. During her stay in the hospital, she wrote a letter from the bottom of heart to Secretary Li, to express her gratitude to “Tomorrow Plan” and brought her new meaning to life.

After Secretary Li was very excited to receive the letter, and immediately replied her letter. In the letter, Minister Li encouraged Li Feng to follow the doctor’s order for full recovery, and battle for good health. He expressed his best wishes to Li Feng for “a better health, and hope she can live as happily as the rest of the Nation’s children under the same blue sky”. Minister Li also states, “The ministry of civil affairs is your home, the social service workers are your family. On September 16th, Li Feng returns to Li Shui Children SWI.
