Original Text:
Due to leukemia, my nephew left us this year in July, the parents, (my sister-in-law) is still going through the grief, and could not overcome the pain of losing their son. They love little children, maybe because they are already over 40, last month they failed in their attempt to produce a test-tube baby. They want to adopt a child, I wonder if the Adoption Center can help them.
Reply:
We sympathize with your brother and sister-in-law¡¯s situation, and sincerely wish that a child in the family would help them overcome the pain and sorrow that they are going through, and relinquish their joy. CCAA¡¯s main responsibility involves certain parts of implementing and guidance with inter-country adoption and domestic adoption. As of now, we are not directly involved with adoption procedures and paperwork. We suggest that your brother and sister-in-law can contact local civil affairs bureau or social institutions to obtain more information about adoption. Generally, domestic adoption application can be done at the district civil affairs bureau.
