We received some feedback on the donation of the second batch of quilts on February 10, 2006 from Xiushan County Social Welfare Institute, Chongqing City including an appreciation letter and photos.

On behalf of the children from the Institute, director Zhou Sheng Xiang wrote the following appreciation letter to the Canadian adoptive families who donated the quilts:

Dear Canadian Friends,
　　How are you?
　　First of all, on behalf of over 100 orphans in Xiushan County Social Welfare Institute, I would like to express our sincere appreciation.
　　 Although we don’t know each other in person, love is without boundaries. You have passed your love through these warm quilts.? Your love and generosity has sparked new inspiration to serve the children. As a Chinese idiom says, a drop of love will be repaid with a well of love. We will pass along your love to the children. With this love, we hope the children will have a beautiful life, like the rainbow after the rain.
　　 Several dozen of children have been adopted from our institute and are living happily with their families.? Among them, several children have been adopted by Canadian families this year so far. We believe they will create a bridge between us with love.
　　 We appreciate the 50 quilts you donated. The quilts will warm them in the winters. Your love may change the lives and future of these children.
　　 Caring about elderly and children is a traditional virtue upheld by the Chinese. We will do our best to serve the children.
　　 Again, I would like to express my sincere appreciation and gratitude.Best wishes.
